Meet Donna Founder of
Blushing Pixel Media

Founder. Runner. Visionary. Terrible Gamer.

I’ve spent years behind the scenes of agencies, building ops, managing chaos, and asking the questions that usually get skipped:

  • Is this actually moving the needle?

  • Do we even know what success looks like?

  • What’s getting us stuck?

I’m a problem solver at heart. Being diagnosed as neurodiverse later in life was the missing piece of the puzzle; it explained my pattern-spotting brain, my obsession with structure, and why I don't just see a campaign, I see the entire machine. Whether I'm geeking out over AI trends, new software or diving into data, I’m looking for the logic in the noise. It’s not just how I work; it’s how I’m wired.

I live for the intersection of strategy and systems. This isn’t just a job for me; it’s where my brain lights up.

And the “Terrible Gamer” part? It started as a way to step out of my "polished" professional version of me and into something where I was allowed to be messy, to laugh, and to be a total beginner. It reminded me that it’s okay to just have a go. That same spirit is what gave me the push to step out on my own and build an agency that does things differently. Eventually, the name just stuck.

The Heart Behind Blushing Pixel

From gamer name to Boutique Agency…

Where Play Meets Purpose

Alongside me is Zara, SparklingPixel (of course). She is the true heart of this business. She’s fierce, beautiful, and can humble an “agency owner” in a heartbeat. She reminds me to stay bright and a little bit rebellious, especially when everything starts to feel a bit too 'polished

Watching her soldier through discomfort, being brave and scared all at once, is what drives me. I’m building this for her, to show her she can create a path that is entirely her own.

As a boutique agency, we’ve traded the "volume" model for a "value" model. This is where all the lessons, the good, the bad, and the beautifully messy, come together. It’s a space built for strategy, resilience, and the belief that being results-driven doesn't mean you stop being human.

Welcome to Blushing Pixel... buckle in.
